WOW! What a weekend I have had. It's been so much fun. I woke up yesterday at 11:20 and started off to phx. with my friend Nick. It was just us driving up there listening to great music geting ready to see great bands. So we first went to his old pastnors hous giving us a place to crash which was awesome. We hung out with him for awhile, so than we decided to go record shopping. I brought about 80 bucks with me. That usully would be a lot more than I need but hey this was going to be a rocking wekend. We went to this place called stinkweeds. I walk in and its like a where I want to live. This place is so great because here in tucson there isn't really that good of music here like a good local indie record store. I first go to see the new vinyls and there it was New End Original. Whats so great about this, it isnt suppose to hit shelves until October 2nd. These guys seriously rock it out, plus the vinyl I got was marbel blue.They are up there on my list. Go pick up their record called thriller. So I would have been satisfied with that but no, it gets better I found a Jets To Brazil album which they are pretty good and it was on white vinyl. Than I was looking for this one band called Siqur Ros but they didn't have it on vinyl so I figured it that they didn't have it cd. As I was searching for some other cd's I found Damian Jurado which is a good folk singer. I bring my cd's up to pay after about an hour in there and he had Siqur Ros on cd. Man what a day! I ended up spulrging and paid 60 bucks for that.

Onto the show that night. We arrive at Modified this really cool place that has a nice indie scene and a really nice venue. We first started to this local band called lancey. They were really cool guys but there music wasn't that good, actully it was annoying. Than I met up with fred from Breaking Pangea and this guy is serioulsy the coolest guy. Hes not a rockstar in other words. Than Solo Project kids showed up and they were rockstars that whole vibe which isn't cool. They change thier music more that jiffy lube changes oil. I swear they have played like reggae, than pop punk, to emo, and know an hybrid of scremo. There new stuff was pretty good but other than that their jerks. Than Breaking Pangea was seriously amazing again. I was so glad that I could see them two nights in a row. They put on a great show like always. Finally Time Spent Driving played a really great show and they were nice guys. Than we went to stay the night at a friends house. OH yeah the scene girl down there were really cute except that they all smoked.

  Well last night was amazing. I got to talk with this really great band called breaking pangea. They were really nice guys. When they got up on stage and started rocking out it, it completely blew my socks off of how good they were. I heard of them before the show and all that but seeing them was amazing. Go pick up there cd. Tonight is even better cause I'm going up to phx. to see them and this other band called time spent driving.   What do I have to say besides that physics sucks. I completely hate it. I went to tutoring yesterday and I learned how to do everything and the problems seemed to be coming out right. I had this feeling of confidence as I went to take the test. As soon as i got it my brain freezed. I couldn't help it, everything I knew was lost. I think I failed that test. I seriously don't know how I'm going to pass that class.

This weekend os going to be completely awesome. I'm doing so much cool stuff. Tonight I get to hang out with my friend tonight and run this show at this local place called Skrappy's. I get to help promote the booking company and get people to sign up for it. The coolest thing about it is that I get to rock out with the band the whole night. The weekend even gets better than that, tomorrow I get to go to phx. all day and promote the show.

  My day today was really hectic. I went to school and nothing really cool happened except sweet checks. Other than that my day so far has been average. Later today I have to go to tutoring because I suck at physics. Physics is just something I completly do not understand. As soon as I get the hang of it we have a test the next day and I forget it all. Why do we have to take classes that we don't want to go to, sure we need it for college but for what? Well so every tuesday and thursdays I have to go drive to the school and listen to the dinosaur teach me how to do it. LIke if this was last year that would be the coolest thing ever cause I had an amazingly hot teacher. She was incredible, I swear that if you have a teacher that is hot and that is someone that you can relate to and that cares to hear your opinion you will learn so much more. She was my biology teacher and I went to mexico over the summer and I was nameing off different ?mullusks? The teacher I have now is like an 70 year old lady that is so used to routine that it annoys the hell out of me. i.e she won't let anybody touch her whiteboard and if you do you get yelled out. whenever she yells like that im the kid in the back laughing my head off. So this tutoring class is something she needs to take a hint about, there is like 25 kids in the class. She might as well start another class for all the kids who do not get it at all. After tutoring I have to go to work. Work isn't that hard for me, actully it is prolly one of the ?easists? jobs alive. All I do is go into peoples rooms at this hotel and put chocolates on thier pillow. That's from 5-9.

  What happened today? Well today was a pretty boring day. I woke up and had a little challenge on my hands. I had to figure out if I should wear a belt or not. This may seem like a simple task but reallys its not. So I put on my Dickies and they fit fine not sagging at all. So than, I always tell myself to put on a belt just in case, but I ignored that. So I was on my way to school and got a ?sausage? crossian'wich? and boy was that amazing. I don't think i have ever tasted somethig so delicious. So I got out of my car and my pants were starting to fall. It was horrible all day I had to pull them up to my ass. And if you know me you know I have no ass for them to hang onto them. So that was a drag all day.

Yesterday one of my teachers never showed up so I decided to write this letter to one of my best friends. Ever since the whole tragedy went down I have started to relize that life is real short and I should start to thank all the people that I care about. I wrote a page long letter telling her everything of how much I care for her and all that good stuff. I saw her today and I gave it to her and it felt really good. Well I'm going to tell you about *H*. I have known her since about freshmen year and we didn't talk much to her than but the next year we became really good friends. I started to talk to her all class periods than occasionally go out with her on weekends and I ?gradully? started liking her. So me being a rocker I wrote her a song. At the time I thought this song was awesome. So my old band Yesterday's News worked it out and it was horrible. The words were there but everything about it didn't flow. So me being a complete idiot wrote something hinting her to go out with me but it didn't work at all. So for the next few weeks it was a little awkward, but eventully somehow that made us closer. We were like best friends. So recently I just decided to write it down and let her know about that how much I respect her. So I will find out later.

  So today was an allright day. I woke up late for school which wasn't that bad since I got a little more sleep so that was a plus. So I drive to school and go to my classes. Than I go to lunch at Taco Bell. Usully this would be any average day at Taco Bell except the fact that they had this new soda on the fountain. This soda was seriously amazing. It is called Mountain Dew Code Red. I told the people who work there if I could have a glass of water. Instead of giving me water they give me a empty cup. So I'm filling up my cup all day until I had to go back to class. So I go back to class all filled up with some good food and drinks. One thing you gotta know about my school is that are classes are like an hour and forty minutes long. So I'm sitting there not paying attention to what he has to say. And man did I have to go to the bathroom. I had to take the biggest leak ever. So I asked him to go and he said not tell the end of class. It was ten minutes into class.

Moral [] Take advantage of free soda, but make sure you dont have to sit through an hour and forty minute class.  ¶ 6:36 PM 0 Comments
